Coleman 8-Person Red Canyon Dome Tent

This tent from Coleman has all the features you’d expect from such a well-known manufacturer of tents, including Coleman’s Weathertec technology, to offer protection from the rain and wind.  The three-room design makes it a good option for a family of four, who like to have a bit of space and privacy.

The simple, rectangular design is relatively simple to set up and pack down with color-coded poles and clear instructions, and can even be set up by one person if required.  The carry bag provided is a little tight however, so you may have to practice the best way to get it into the bag, or consider getting a separate duffel bag to store it in.

A generous 17 ft x 10 ft floor area, this tent has a 6 ft center height to allow most adults to stand up while inside it.  Mesh ventilation near ground level provide a steady flow of fresh air through the tent, even when the rainfly is in use. 

A small awning over the door helps to keep the rain out, and provides a little cover to allow you to remove your coat as you transition from outside to inside. 

The kids will love having their own bedroom in this tent!  With two dividers, the Coleman 8-Person Red Canyon Dome Tent easily divides into three rooms, offering privacy for the whole family.  You can either use one end for all your gear and section it off to hide the mess, or put your gear in the middle and have a bedroom at each end.
